Nirva raises $33 million for an AI pendant that listens only to its owner
Startup Nirva, founded by former Meta Reality Labs employees, raised $25 million in a pre-Series A round, bringing total investment to $33 million. The company is developing a pendant weighing about eight grams that passively listens only to the owner's speech, filters out other people's voices, and does not store audio recordings after processing. The $249 device will go on sale in November.
