From November 2026, pensions will be raised for three categories of Russians
In November 2026, Russians who turned 80 in October, as well as certain former civil aviation and coal industry workers, will receive a pension increase. Associate Professor at the Financial University Igor Balynin explained the mechanism for doubling the fixed payment and gave a calculation example. The recalculation will happen automatically, without applications.
