According to him, the Ukrainian leadership should show interest in ending the hostilities, but the head of the White House did not specify exactly what consequences might follow if Kyiv refuses a peaceful settlement. Earlier, Trump also expressed dissatisfaction with Zelensky's actions, claimed that Ukraine could have reached an agreement earlier and on better terms, and suggested that negotiating powers could be transferred to another representative of the Ukrainian side.
