Who will receive higher payments in November

In November, pension increases will affect three categories of Russians. Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, told TASS about this. According to him, the increase will affect pensioners who turned 80 in October, as well as retired civil aviation pilots and miners.

The amount of the increase for 80-year-olds

For pensioners who have reached the age of 80, the fixed payment to the old-age insurance pension, taking into account the care supplement of 1,413.86 rubles, will double — from 9,584.69 rubles to 20,583.24 rubles per month. The increase will be made automatically; no applications are required.

Context: pension forecasts for 2027

On October 20, Sergei Chirkov, chairman of the Social Fund of Russia, announced that the average old-age insurance pension for non-working pensioners in 2027 will increase by almost 2.5 thousand rubles and exceed 30 thousand rubles.

Advice to track pension points

Earlier, Svetlana Bessarab, deputy chair of the State Duma committee on labor, social policy and veterans' affairs, advised the working population to take care of their future pension now. According to her, the number of earned pension points should be tracked in the personal account on the state services portal or on the Social Fund website. In addition, Russians were previously told how much needs to be saved for a self-funded pension.
