Proposal to equip polyclinics
Medical institutions in Russia should be equipped with machines for automatically putting on shoe covers. This opinion was expressed to TASS by the Vice President of the Society of Russian Doctors, chairman of the Party of Pensioners, Erik Prazdnikov. According to him, the duties of a medical organization include providing visitors with shoe covers and maintaining cleanliness, while the covers must be durable and of the appropriate size so as not to tear and to perform their function.
Doctor's comment
“There are modern technologies — you walk into the lobby, put your foot on the machine, and it puts the shoe covers on you by itself. The cost of the machine is minimal,” Prazdnikov emphasized. He added that a comfortable environment for patients must be created in medical organizations, and that such details to a certain extent shape people's impressions of polyclinics, hospitals and dispensaries.
