Team gold in Nanjing

The Russian team won the team final of the trampoline gymnastics world championship, held in Nanjing, China. According to Life.ru, the Russians scored 64 points and outperformed the hosts — the Chinese team (59 points, silver) and the Portuguese team (56 points, bronze). The margin over the nearest rivals was five points.

First competition under the flag since 2019

The world championship took place from November 4 to 8. For the Russian team, this tournament was special: for the first time since 2019, the athletes competed at the world championship under the national flag. This also changes the nature of the result itself — the team gold is credited specifically to Russia, not to athletes competing in a neutral status, as was the case in previous years.

Individual and synchronized victories

In addition to the team standings, the tournament brought the Russians several victories in individual disciplines. Dmitry Nartov and Kirill Panteleev won gold in synchronized trampoline, while in the women's event in the same discipline, Maria Mikhaylova and Anzhela Bladtseva took first place. In addition, as the same outlet previously reported, Galina Begim became the best in the double mini-trampoline discipline, finishing ahead of rivals from New Zealand and the United States.
