Progress of the investigation

The attack took place on Saturday evening: police were called shortly after 22:30 GMT to a house on Park Road in Chandler's Ford, where an 'unknown group' had entered a party through a garden fence. Five teenagers were injured as a result. According to police, one 17-year-old boy remains in hospital in a serious condition, while the other four injured have already been discharged. Earlier, on Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon, two more 16-year-old residents of Southampton were detained; the court allowed police to extend their questioning, and both remain in custody. Two other teenagers detained in connection with the case have been released on bail after questioning. Thus, as of Thursday, four suspects are in custody and two are on bail.
