In the Irkutsk region, a bear came out of the forest toward residential cottages, began breaking doors and smashing windows as it tried to get inside. A man distracted the predator to allow his wife and colleagues to escape: the woman jumped out of a second-floor window and suffered a severe injury — a comminuted fracture of the upper third of the tibia with complete displacement and bone loss. According to doctors, a full recovery will take up to six months. Earlier, in the Krasnodar region, a womanwho encountered a bear called rescuers.
