A new program and studio cycle

The band Diktofon will perform in Saint Petersburg with the program Autumn Breaks; the press service of the Kosmonavt club told Gazeta.Ru. The concert will be part of a new studio cycle called Breaks: as part of it, the musicians plan to release four albums, each conceived as a separate chapter of their work. Thus, the Saint Petersburg performance is the first public manifestation of the project, while the release of the records themselves has so far only been announced as a plan.

History of the band

Diktofon was founded in Zhukovsky by Anton Makarov; frontman of Auktyon Oleg Garkusha, a longtime friend of Makarov, played a key role in the band's formation. The debut single Kosmonavt was released in October 2020 and recorded together with Naike Borzov. The first album Khotelos was released on October 1, 2021, followed by Zvuki Prirody (2022), Zhestokie Romansy (2023), Chutka, eshchyo chutka — vot i vse! (2024) and the self-titled album Diktofon (2025). In an interview with chita.ru, Makarov described the band's genre as rock about love and noted that most listeners have neither the time nor the interest to sort out genres: when a taxi driver drives us and says: And what do you play? — Well, we usually play rock. Classic rock. — Cool.
