TSUL dormitory building put up for auction
The Agency for State Asset Management has put up for sale a building in Tashkent's Almazar district; the lot has been listed on the E-auksion platform. Spot.uz reports this, citing data from the platform. The facility is located on Talabalar Street near the intersection with the Small Ring Road and is part of a complex of four student dormitories. It currently houses Dormitory No. 2 of the Tashkent State University of Law.
Lot parameters and sale conditions
The premises cover 8,972 square meters, and the plot is just over 1 hectare. The building has all utilities: water supply, sewerage, gas, and electricity. The starting price has been set at 195.66 billion soums, and the auction is scheduled for November 4.
When the building will leave the university
The sale is being conducted in accordance with a Cabinet of Ministers decision from July of this year. However, the building will not be handed over to the buyer immediately, but only after the new TSUL campus is commissioned — meaning the university will retain the ability to use the dormitory until construction is completed. Thus, the November 4 auction will determine the future owner, but the actual transfer of the facility is tied to the opening of the new campus.
