Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff at Konstantinovsky Palace on Wednesday morning. This was reported by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, Interfax reports.

According to Ushakov, the main topic of the meeting between Putin and Witkoff will be the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. He also stated that Russian representatives have had no contacts with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Axios correspondent Barak Ravid reported that the day before, the US, Ukraine and European countries, during talks in Oslo, agreed on a unified position on further steps to settle the conflict and engage with Russia. According to him, Ukraine presented new ideas and proposals, which the participants discussed in detail, and significant progress was achieved in agreeing on a coordinated approach to engagement with Russia and advancing the diplomatic process.
