Scheme of contact through a fake account
According to the court, the man created an online persona of a girl and began corresponding with two minors. To win the children's trust, he took an interest in their hobbies and kept conversations going on topics familiar to them. The offender took advantage of the fact that the children could not verify the identity of their interlocutor and convinced them that he was communicating as an equal and shared their interests.
Solicitation and distribution of materials
After establishing trusting relations, the convicted man persuaded the girls to perform acts of a sexual nature and demanded photographs and videos of an intimate nature. He kept the materials he obtained with the intent of further distribution, and posted images of one of the victims on social media.
Trial and examination
During the proceedings, the defendant refused to admit guilt, but the testimony of the girls, witnesses, and other evidence allowed the court to establish the circumstances of the crimes. A forensic psychiatric examination revealed that the man had a sexual preference disorder in the form of pedophilia. The court ordered compulsory supervision and treatment by a psychiatrist at the place where he serves his sentence.
