Paris's reaction to the AI video
France's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, October 21, criticized Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir over a video created with artificial intelligence in which Gaza residents are 'magically' transported to Paris. On the ministry's French Response account on the social network X, it was written: 'Imagine you have a magic lamp, and you spend a wish on... Ben-Gvir. Even magic cannot lift the ban on his entry into France.'
Content of the campaign video
According to Anadolu, on Tuesday Ben-Gvir, leader of the far-right party 'Jewish Power,' published the AI video as part of the campaign ahead of Israel's parliamentary elections, scheduled for October 27. According to the agency's description, the video shows Gaza in 2030 as a ghost city with destroyed schools, infrastructure and port. The scene with a donkey is followed by the party's slogan: 'You have to be a donkey to stay in Gaza,' which the agency interprets as mockery of the Palestinians who remained. It is also reported that Ben-Gvir 'boasted' about the destruction of the enclave.
Context
According to Anadolu, Ben-Gvir has repeatedly demanded the occupation of Gaza, the displacement of the Palestinian population and the creation of Israeli settlements on this territory. The agency cites its own figures on the consequences of the war that began in October 2023: more than 74,000 killed, over 175,000 wounded, and about 90% of civilian infrastructure destroyed. It is noted that, despite the ceasefire in effect since October 10, 2025, Israel continued shelling and demolition of Palestinian facilities. On Sunday, Arab parties accused Ben-Gvir of using his measures and violations against Palestinians to mobilize support and intimidate Arab voters.
