On October 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese State Council Premier Li Qiang are holding a meeting at the Constantine Palace in St. Petersburg. Also present at the talks are Deputy Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak and Dmitry Chernyshenko, Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Maxim Oreshkin.
Li Qiang's Statement
According to the Chinese premier's words conveyed by TASS, he is confident that 'under your wise leadership, the Russian Federation is certainly moving confidently along the path of state development and national revival.' These words were addressed to the Russian leader.
On Bilateral Ties
At the meeting, Putin noted that Moscow and Beijing continue to successfully and dynamically develop bilateral ties. He asked Li Qiang to convey his greetings to PRC Chairman Xi Jinping, who, in turn, conveyed to Putin best wishes from the Chinese leader.
