Incident near the M-39 highway

According to the Zamon.uz publication, the incident took place in the Oqoltin district of Syrdarya Region along the M-39 highway running through it. A young man, in a state of intoxication, approached a woman selling goods on the roadside and offered her sexual intercourse for money.

Report to internal affairs bodies

The victim was displeased with the offer and turned to the internal affairs bodies. According to her testimony, she first responded to the young man's approach, but upon realizing his intention, she wished for appropriate measures to be taken over the incident. Internal affairs officers, having examined the circumstances, drew up a protocol against the young man and forwarded the documents to the court.

Court hearing and verdict

At the court hearing, the young man confirmed the woman's testimony. He stated that he committed the act while intoxicated and asked for leniency. The victim, on the contrary, demanded strict measures against the offender — 'Take strict measures!' she declared. The court, having considered the victim's testimony and the case materials, sentenced the 22-year-old man to administrative arrest for a term of 5 days.
