The wanted notice disappeared from the Interpol website
The Interpol website no longer displays the notice regarding entrepreneur Kahramonjon Olimov, Spot.uz reported on October 15, 2026. Uzbekistan officially declared the businessman internationally wanted at the end of September. The notice indicated that Olimov was born on May 7, 1977, in the Andijan region and speaks Uzbek, Russian and English. The grounds for the search were not specified on the website — the wording of the charge is, as a rule, presented in the form in which it was provided by the requesting party.
What is a Red Notice
A Red Notice was issued against Olimov — a request to law enforcement agencies of other countries to locate a person and temporarily detain them for further extradition or another legally provided action. It is not an international arrest warrant: the decision on detention is made under the legislation of the specific country. Interpol also emphasizes that it is the state that sent the request, not the organization itself, that considers the person wanted.
How the search became known
The publication The Insider was the first to report on September 18 about Olimov's in-absentia arrest and his declaration as internationally wanted. However, at that time Spot could not find the corresponding notice on the Interpol website — it was published later. Spot had previously reported in detail on the situation around private Anorbank and its founder.
Who is Kahramonjon Olimov
According to the Unified State Register, Olimov is a member of Anorbank's supervisory board and owns 49.4% of the bank's shares. Another 50% belongs to the Netherlands-based Bekamin B.V., and 0.6% to the insurance company Kapital Sug'urta. Until recently, Olimov directly owned 99.4% of the shares, but in December 2025 he transferred the controlling stake to Bekamin B.V., and his share decreased to 49.4%. Olimov was born in 1977, graduated from the Andijan Institute of Engineering and Economics in 1999 with a degree in Finance and Credit, and in 2012 received an MBA from the Graduate School of Business under the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of Uzbekistan.
Position of Anorbank and the Central Bank
In September, Anorbank, in response to a Spot inquiry, stated that the private circumstances of an individual shareholder are not connected with the bank's activities, its capital, management or banking operations, and that the bank continues to operate as usual. The Central Bank of Uzbekistan reported that the situation with an individual shareholder does not directly affect Anorbank's operational activities and financial stability: the bank continues to provide deposit, credit, payment and other services and fulfills its obligations to clients.
The bank's indicators
According to the Central Bank's data as of September 1, 2026, Anorbank's assets amounted to 21.4 trillion soums, liabilities — 19.8 trillion soums. The share of highly liquid assets is 16.9% with a minimum of 10%, the liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) is 116%, and the net stable funding ratio (NSFR) is 128% with a minimum of 100%. The regulatory capital adequacy ratio is 13% with a minimum requirement of 12%. The regulator noted that these indicators demonstrate the bank's compliance with prudential requirements for liquidity and capital adequacy. Spot had also previously written about a comment by businessman Muminjon Yuldashev in connection with his declaration as internationally wanted.
