About the competition and Uzbekistan's results
The Cambrian Patrol competition has been held since 1959; it is currently organized by the 160th Welsh Brigade of the British Armed Forces. Its purpose is to test the practical training of military units, exchange experience and develop international military cooperation. Uzbekistan's servicemen took part in the competition for the first time in 2017 and immediately took second place. In 2018 and 2019, the team won gold medals, and in 2020–2025 — silver. Earlier, Uzbek military personnel won an international competition in South Korea for the fourth time in a row.
