Company denies rumors of sales without a down payment
Social media spread messages claiming that Chevrolet Damas, Cobalt, Tracker and Onix vehicles were supposedly being offered for sale in installments without a down payment. One of the widely shared videos said: "Don't rush to buy a car yet... a 0% installment plan will open. You don't pay anything at the start, and pay the rest monthly. It will open without a down payment, God willing, soon." UzAuto Motors' press service told Gazeta.uz that these messages do not correspond to reality: the company currently has no plans to sell any model in installments without a down payment. The company urged the public and social media users not to spread unverified and misleading information.
Current installment plan with a down payment
The company reminds that on October 7 it began selling the Chevrolet Cobalt and Damas in installments without the involvement of banks. The down payment is 50% for the Cobalt and 30% for the Damas.
