50% Museum Discount as Part of 'Seniors Tourism Month'

From November 1 to 30, 2026, Uzbekistan will hold a 'Seniors Tourism Month'. According to the press service of the Cultural Heritage Agency, senior citizens will be offered a 50% discount on entrance tickets when visiting cultural heritage sites, state museums and museum-reserves during this period. The list of cultural heritage sites where discounted tickets are available has been published by the agency.

Goals of the Initiative

According to the Cultural Heritage Agency, the initiative is aimed at expanding opportunities for senior citizens to visit historical monuments and museums, facilitating the organization of meaningful leisure for them, as well as creating conditions for a closer acquaintance with the country's historical and cultural heritage.

Railway Ticket Discount

In addition, from November 1 to 30, senior citizens of Uzbekistan will be offered a 20% discount on the fare component of railway tickets for domestic routes. The benefit does not apply to Afrosiyob high-speed trains. Women over 55 and men over 60 will be eligible for the discount.
