Two dead after strike on LTC

Head of the Luhansk People's Republic Leonid Pasechnik said in Max that after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the building of the Luhansk telephone company (LTC), the bodies of two people were found. According to him, the dead were engineers. Emergency services and specialized specialists continue working at the impact site.

Circumstances of the strike

According to Pasechnik, on the morning of October 21 the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the LTC building in Luhansk. At the moment of the strike, a duty shift of specialists was in the premises; some of them managed to leave the building.

Other affected territories

According to the head of the LNR, Ukrainian strikes also hit residential buildings, trucks, civilian and municipal infrastructure in Krasny Luch, Lysychansk, Pervomaisk, as well as in the Starobelsk, Perevalsk and Novopskov municipal districts.

Pasechnik stated that duty air defense systems and mobile fire groups downed about 50 aerial targets over the territory of the republic. As a result of Ukrainian attacks over the past day, three people in the LNR received injuries incompatible with life. Earlier, two dead were reported after an attack on the LNR.
