Netrebko's Sister Returned to Krasnodar
The sister of opera singer Anna Netrebko — designer Natalia Eskildsen — flew to Russia and spoke about returning to the house in Krasnodar where they grew up. She posted photos from her native land on Instagram (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

“Russia. Beloved Krasnodar. I have flown home again! A long and difficult road, flight delays, fast winds, the lights of unfamiliar cities and airports... The key quietly turns in the lock of the old gate, and the whole bustling, noisy and vast world remains behind the closed door. My native home greets me quietly — it recognizes me by my footsteps and immediately takes me into its embrace. I admire the blooming roses and dahlias, the garden smells of ripe grapes, the light in the living room falls on the carpet just as it did in childhood, and the cat Tosya, though with a touch of indifference, is still glad to see me. There is a lot of work in the garden, the grape harvest is coming soon, I eagerly look forward to meeting my friends, and there are many, many more plans ahead,” she shared.

Eskildsen has lived in Denmark for many years and has a daughter. Daniella Netrebko is a 3D artist, architect and interior designer with her own studio in Berlin and Copenhagen. Anna Netrebko has said that her sister actively helps her raise her special son Tiago: she often picks him up after school and spends vacations with him. According to the singer, she can always count on the support of a loved one. The singer gave birth to her first child with Uruguayan baritone Erwin Schrott, to whom she was engaged, but the relationship was never officially registered, and they separated in 2013.
