New camera control section
In Tashkent, cameras intended for detecting and recording violations of traffic rules have been put into operation on Lutfi Street in the Chilanzar district, the Center for Traffic Organization reported. This concerns a section 2.4 km long.
What the cameras record
Along the right edge of the roadway, a dedicated 'A' lane for public transport has been organized, as well as separate lanes for bicycles, electric scooters and other personal mobility devices. The cameras will record cases of movement, stopping and parking of other vehicles on these lanes in violation of the rules. Fines will be issued based on the recorded violations.
Appeal to drivers
Drivers are urged to comply with the requirements of road signs and markings, and not to block the lanes intended for public transport, cyclists and users of personal mobility devices.
Previous installations
Earlier, similar cameras were already installed on Fargona yuli Street (Fergana Highway) — on a section 6 km long in both directions. Lutfi Street has become another section of Tashkent where automatic control of dedicated lane traffic has been organized.
