Night frosts in the Moscow region

The Russian Hydrometcenter told TASS, citing forecast data, that in the coming night frosts down to −5°C are possible in places in the Moscow region. According to the agency's source, the air temperature in Moscow will range from zero to +2°C, in the region −2...−3°C, and in the east of the region down to −5°C.

During the day on October 22, light rain is possible in places. In the capital, the air will warm up to +11...+13°C, in the region from +8 to +13°C.

Winter forecast

It was previously reported that in winter the temperature in Moscow and throughout Central Russia may be above the climatic norm: in the capital, the norm of the average winter temperature is −4...−6°C. According to forecasts by climatologists, next winter a temperature close to or above the climatic norm can be expected in this region. Meteorologists note, however, that this does not mean consistently mild weather throughout all three months.
